OpenSea Collaborates With FWB DAO, Spends $100K To Commission NFTs

Leading NFT marketplace OpenSea spends $100K to commission NFT artworks created by ten artists for the upcoming Friends With Benefits Fest.

OpenSea will feature "The Flock" collection on its homepage starting August 12, and each NFT will be offered for sale as a single edition. The $100K commission will be split evenly among the ten artists chosen by FWB DAO, who will each design an artwork to create this collection.

Alexander Bercow, Overseer of OpenSea's Creative Partnerships, notes, "The FWB team has curated an incredible lineup of artists that we're thrilled to bring to our community via our homepage and our weekly collaboration on NFT Pirate Radio."

The physi-digital artworks of The Flock collection will also be displayed during this week's FWB Fest.
