NFT Selfies of Indonesian Student are now Worth Millions

Ghozali Ghozalo, a 22-year-old college student from Indonesia, has created a collection of NFTs that features his own ordinary daily selfies.

Ghozalo’s collection of NFTs is made up of 933 selfies that he photographed over the course of four years. His collection is now selling for a huge sum of $1 million in sales.

Initially, the NFTs were priced at $3 each, but now the floor price for a single photo is selling to the range of $1500 each.

The student’s account name on OpenSea goes by the name Ghozali every day. His profile on the platform reads, “I took photos of myself since I was 18 to 22 years old (2017 – 2021)…it’s really a picture of me standing in front of the computer day by day.”

Though he says that the pictures of him are taken when he was standing in front of the computer every day, it only contains 933 images. Hence, it is worth noting that the pictures are not a "day by day" snapshot from the past four years.

The selfie collection was initially meant for a video in his school, but instead, Ghozalo turned them into an NFT collection which will make him a millionaire.
