Lorenzo Riva launches Cristóbal Balenciaga: To The Moon NFT Collection, which features NFTs inspired by more than 8000 original drawings of the iconic fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga.
Cristóbal Balenciaga: To the Moon collection consists of 10000 fashion-themed NFTs, created from a collaboration between Cointelegraph, Lorenzo Riva, Art Consulting, Animal Concerts, and Artvein.
The collection drops on NFT marketplace Crypto.com on July 21 at 9 AM EST and will be on sale for the next two days. Each pack is priced at $100 and contains a random NFT whose traits are not revealed until after the purchase.
The 8300 haute couture drawings that served as the basis of this collection were created by Cristóbal Balenciaga, the Legendary Spanish fashion designer and the founder of the Balenciaga fashion house art director, and delivered to Lorenzo by Maison Balenciaga. Lorenzo Riva claims that haute couture fashion enters the metaverse “with the extraordinary elegance of the glamorous 1950s” thanks to this project.
This NFT drop features a myriad of redeemable goodies (delivered within 45 days of completion of drop) in respect to the women Balenciaga designed for; the rarity of these NFTs determines the type of redeemable offered.
Crypto.com notes that 20 holders of “Ultra Rare” To The Moon NFTs will be selected randomly to receive Original, 70-year-old drawings hand drawn by Cristóbal Balenciaga himself. Moreover, another set of 20 Ultra Rare NFT owners will receive a $500 Designer Gift Card.
Moreover, 5 owners of the "Hyper Rare" NFTs will receive Designer Bags, and another 5 will receive a designer wallet.
Apart from the merchandise, all NFT holders will be granted a free metaverse concert ticket. They will also be given other perks, including securing an allowlist spot for future Cristóbal Balenciaga NFTs and access to special giveaways.
