Famous rapper and songwriter Aitch drops his first NFT Collections on LimeWire’s marketplace to celebrate the release of his upcoming music album.
The Manchester rapper took over the charts with his single “Straight Rhymez.” With his latest album, Close To Home, debuting on August 19, Aitch releases two NFT collections in collaboration with Soga World on LimeWire.
The first of the two collections consists of 1600 collectibles with 16 different NFT artworks and trading cards based on the songs featured in Aitch’s upcoming album. Each item is priced at $15, and owners of the Mystery Box NFTs are given a chance to experience several in-person benefits, including lifetime tickets to the rapper’s gigs, unlimited passes for next year’s shows, and appearing on an upcoming music video, etc.
The second collection consists of 250 Vinyl and 250 CD bundles of Close To Home album. LimeWire users who purchase this collection will receive a unique album artwork and an autographed poster.
The CD bundle is priced at $25, while the Vinyl bundle costs $50, including shipping charges. LimeWire claims that the platform would ship the bundle to the buyer’s home on August 19 if they purchase the collectible bundle by August 15.
Originally a P2P file sharing platform, LimeWire was revived as an “open music and entertainment NFT marketplace” after raising $10.4M and striking a partnership with Universal Music Group.
LimeWire began its re-launch last month, with rapper 7 Aurelius NFTs being the first to drop on the platform. Furthermore, the platform claimed to feature more NFTs from popular artists such as Travis Barker, and Nicky Jam, among others.
