Bored Ape Yacht Club: Can we Expect an Upcoming Miami Event?

Bishal Kumar Chanda

Does the Bored Ape Yacht Club have something special planned in Miami? At least, one Twitter user seems to think so. Driven by a hunger for some Bored Ape News, the BAYC member has put on their detective hat to gather clues from social media. But is there anything to their speculation, or is it pure fantasy?

As a result of the recent Instagram post from Bored Ape Yacht Club, Twitter user @bayc8925 embarked on their investigation. The post has an image of a digitally illustrated swamp clubhouse with the caption “Something is brewing in the swamp”.

Despite the vague nature of the Instagram post, the Twitter user went all the way and guessed what it might be pointing at. The location tag of the Instagram post is of “The Everglades”, an area on the Florida coast just north of Miami. This nugget of information was enough for the BAYC member to conclude that the post refers to the second roadmap of Bored Ape Yacht Club.

As mentioned in @bayc8925’s tweet, there are two mentions of Miami in BAYC’s new roadmap. While it can be the location for a real-life BAYC Clubhouse, it can also refer to a location in The Sandbox metaverse. Miami is developing into a major hotspot for the NFT community in the US, and the Bored Apes are no exception.

Last year, a popular Miami nightclub, E11Even aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club. after purchasing the Bored Ape #11 for 99 ETH ($396,000). If the BAYC team has anything planned in Miami, there are high chances that it’ll be related to E11Even. However, nothing can be said for sure.

All in all, the BAYC member and Twitter user @bayc8925 might be onto something. Or they could be speculating too much to dig up news. Only time can tell the true intention behind the post. Till then, stay tuned with NiftyHype for the latest news in the NFT industry.
